Onix Solar Energy has announced that the company has received a Letter of Intent worth INR 148.80 crore from Vikran Engineering for the supply of Non-DCR TOPCon 620 WP solar module.
“The Letter of Intent is received for design, manufacture, factory acceptance and supply of 1,93,550 Non-DCR TOPCon 620 Wp solar module for Vikran – Projects,” the company stated in a regulatory filing.
It further added that the order must be completed within three months from the date of manufacturing clearance by Vikran.
In June 2025, the company acquired Onix Tech Renewable for about INR 488.77 crore in a strategic move to consolidate the group’s manufacturing operations under the listed entity and achieve vertical integration in the solar energy value chain.
“Onix Tech is engaged in the manufacturing of Mono PERC solar modules and alignment systems with a 100 MW capacity, while Onix Solar will set up TOPCon solar modules and solar cell manufacturing facilities with 1,200 MW capacity each,” it said in a regulatory filing.
It further added that this integration will result in technology complementarity, backward integration, and enhanced scalability. “It will also ensure operational transparency, improve governance, and create long-term value for public shareholders by expanding product offerings, reducing costs, and strengthening market competitiveness,” it said.
