ONGC NTPC Green Operationalises 62.5 MW Solar Projects in Rajasthan
NTPC Green Energy has operationalised an additional 62.5 MW of solar capacity in Rajasthan through its JV company ONGC NTPC Green, taking the group’s total installed capacity to 10,516.40 MW.

NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) has announced that the NGEL Group has operationalised an additional 62.5 MW of solar projects in Rajasthan through its JV company ONGC NTPC Green.
Project Eleven Renewable Power, a stepdown subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green, has operationalised the second part capacity of 12.5 MW (cumulative 100 MW) of a 150 MW solar project located in Rajasthan. Additionally, another stepdown subsidiary Project Sixteen Renewable Power has operationalised the second part capacity of 50 MW (cumulative 200 MW) of a 300 MW solar project located in Rajasthan.
With this, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Group will increase to 10,516.40 MW, the company stated in a regulatory filing.
Last month, NTPC Green Energy, through its wholly-owned subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy, operationalised an additional 90 MW at its Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat, taking the project’s total commissioned capacity to 1,095 MW.
In March 2026, the company operationalised the third, fourth, fifth and sixth part capacity totalling 630 MW. The second part capacity of 165 MW was operationalised in February 2026, while the first part capacity of 210 MW was operationalised in January 2026.
In March 2026, the company also operationalised the third and last part capacity of 75 MW at its 500 MW Bhadla solar PV project located in Phalodi, Rajasthan and the twelfth and last part capacity of 78.02 MW at its 1,255 MW Khavda-I solar PV project located in Gujarat.
By 2032, NTPC Group plans to have 60 GW capacity through RE sources, constituting nearly 45 percent of its overall power generation capacity.
