ONGC NTPC Green Arm Commissions 150 MW Solar Project in Rajasthan
Project Sixteen Renewable Power, a step-down subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green and a group company of NTPC Green Energy, has operationalised 150 MW of a 300 MW solar project in Rajasthan, increasing the NGEL group’s total installed capacity to 10,276.40 MW.

NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) has announced that Project Sixteen Renewable Power, a step-down subsidiary of NGEL’s joint venture ONGC NTPC Green, has operationalised 150 MW out of its 300 MW solar project located in Rajasthan.
With this, NGEL Group’s total installed capacity has increased to 10,276.40 MW, the company stated in a regulatory filing.
Last month, NGEL announced that its operational RE capacity has crossed the 10 GW mark. “The Group’s total installed capacity now stands at 10,076 MW, marking an exceptional addition of 4,175 MW during FY 2025-26, of which 2,065 MW was commissioned in Q4 alone,” the company stated.
By 2032, NTPC Group plans to have 60 GW capacity through RE sources, constituting nearly 45 percent of its overall power generation capacity.
