Odisha's SLSWCA Approves 22 Projects Worth INR 4,066 Crores
Among the approved projects, Waaree Clean Energy Solutions has received approval for its Electrolyser Manufacturing Plant in Khurda, with an estimated cost of INR 435 crore.

Odisha Government has approved 22 projects worth INR 4,066.71 crore during the 129th State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting, led by Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena.
Spanning across various sectors including green energy equipments, chemicals, textiles and apparel, steel, iron and ferro alloys, aluminium downstream, food processing, power and renewable energy, IT infrastructure, and infrastructure & logistics, these approved projects hold the promise of extensive employment opportunities and a positive impact on Odisha's industrial landscape.
Among the approved projects, Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Pvt. Limited has received approval for its electrolyser manufacturing plant in Khurda, with an estimated cost of INR 435 crore. Reliance Bio Energy Limited has secured approval for two new projects focusing on compressed biogas and fermented organic manure, to be established in Dhenkanal and Cuttack respectively, with a combined investment of INR 242.42 crore.
In the power and renewable energy sector, Hindalco Industries Limited is set to invest in solar PV power in Koraput, committing INR 200 crores and projecting the creation of 80 potential job opportunities.
Tata Steel Limited ventures into the renewable energy arena with a 22 MW solar PV power plant in Sundargarh, with an investment of INR 125.69 crores and the potential employment of 23 individuals.
Adani Total Energies Biomass Limited is poised to produce compressed biogas in Sambalpur, with a project cost of INR 136.50 crore and the potential to employ 180 people.
These approvals with an employment generation potential of 25,525 persons highlight Odisha's commitment to facilitating ease of doing business and attracting investments across a wide range of sectors.
