With an ambitious vision to build a cleaner, greener and more resilient future, Odisha has set a target to emerge as one of India’s leading green energy hubs by 2036. Reinforcing this commitment, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi recently underlined the state’s focus on strengthening its energy supply chain and accelerating the clean energy transition. In line with this vision, the Odisha Cleantech Global Expo 2026, Eastern India’s exhibition on clean energy and sustainable mobility is scheduled to be held on February 12–13, 2026, in Bhubaneswar.

The two-day mega event is expected to place Odisha firmly on the global green energy map, convening industry leaders, innovators, policymakers, startups and investors from across the world. For the first time at this scale in Eastern India, more than 200 companies from over 20 countries, including Australia, Germany, France and the United States will participate. Confirmed exhibitors include Saatvik Green Energy, Navitas, Novasys, Australian Premium Solar, Gautam Solar, Pahal Solar, Eastman, Trontek, Galo Energy, JD Solar, Latteys Industries, Khetan Group, Taprogge, Delphin, Apple Energy, Midtronics, MGM Green Energy, Gayatri Solar, ALFA, KGDC, White Shark Energy, Grossky, Diode EV, among others.

Debi Prasad Dash, Principal Advisor, Odisha Cleantech Global Expo, and Executive Director, NetZero Energy Transition Association (NETRA), said, “The absence of a large-scale cleantech exhibition in Eastern India had long been felt. With increasing focus from both the central and state governments on clean energy and sustainable mobility, Eastern India is rapidly emerging as a key market for global companies and end consumers alike.

He added that the Expo will serve as a critical platform for innovation showcases, new product launches, and high-value business networking. The event is expected to attract over 10,000 business visitors and more than 1,000 delegates for conferences, CXO roundtables, and the Cleantech Excellence Awards, while accelerating public-private partnerships and investment opportunities.

Prashant Panigrahi, President, Odisha Cleantech Association (OCTA), said Odisha is positioning itself as India’s clean energy powerhouse, supported by the recently launched OCTA, which brings together over 50 industry leaders to advance renewable energy, circular economy initiatives, and electric vehicle adoption. He emphasized that the Odisha Cleantech Global Expo is not merely an exhibition, but a collaborative platform for knowledge-sharing, business development, and long-term partnerships aimed at transforming Eastern India’s energy landscape.

Organised by key stakeholders in Odisha’s cleantech ecosystem, the Expo will feature dedicated pavilions for solar energy, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, green hydrogen, smart grids, and academic and research innovations. High-impact engagements such as the Clean Energy Leadership Conference, workshops for students and professionals, leadership roundtables, and structured B2B meetings with global OEMs, startups, regulators, and financiers are also planned.

The event will spotlight Odisha’s ambitious clean energy roadmap, including its 10 GW renewable energy target and progress in battery storage, electric mobility, green hydrogen, and grid modernisation. Beyond Odisha, the Expo aims to serve as the largest cleantech platform in Eastern India, covering emerging markets across Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and neighbouring states. The state is also exploring advanced technologies such as tidal energy, agri-photovoltaics, floating solar and next-generation BESS solutions to support its energy transition.
