NTPC's 50 MW Solar Station at Rajgarh fully operational
Total capacity of non-conventional energy projects of NTPC Ltd. has now become 95 MW

NTPC's 50 MW Solar Station at Rajgarh is now fully operational. With commencement of commercial operation of 20 MW Solar unit , the capacity of Rajgarh Solar PV Power Station in Madhya Pradesh has become 50 MW and the total capacity of non-conventional energy projects of NTPC Ltd. has become 95 MW.
NTPC is one of India’s ‘Maharatna’ companies of Govt. of India, it is also the largest power producer in the country with an installed capacity of 43039 MW through its 16 coal-based, seven gas-based, seven solar renewable and seven joint venture power stations contributing around 28 per cent of the country’s power requirement.
