NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Invites Bids for 3.45 MW Rooftop Solar Projects in Andaman and Nicobar
NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) has invited bids for installing 3,450 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems across three districts in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Bid submission ends on June 19, 2025.

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) has floated a tender for the installation of 3,450 kW grid-connected rooftop solar power projects at various buildings of three district of Andaman and Nicobar.
In addition to installing the solar systems, selected bidders are required to secure net-metering approval from the distribution company or designated agency.
They must also obtain insurance coverage for transit, storage, and installation of all project materials, and provide operations and maintenance services for a period of five years.
The projects must be completed within 12 months.
The bidders need to pay INR 22,500 as a tender document fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 95.79 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
The last date for submission of bids is June 19, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on June 20, 2025.
Selected bidders must install modules with a minimum capacity of 540 Wp and a minimum efficiency of 20 percent.
All modules used must be sourced from the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), and the solar cells must be from manufacturers listed under ALMM List-II.
The bidder must be a developer or an EPC company having designed/engineered, supplied, erected/supervised erection and commissioned/supervised commissioning of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 400 kWp or higher. Out of this, at least one SPV plant must have been of 40 kWp or higher capacity.
The reference plant of 40 kWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the last date of submission of application for enlistment.
Alternatively, the bidder must have executed in the last 10 years an industrial project either as a developer or as an EPC contractor in the area of power, steel, oil and gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, cement, coal mining including coal handling plant and or any other process industry, of a value of at least INR 40 million, in a single project or single work.
The same should be in successful operation for at least one year for industrial projects other than RE projects and for at least six months for solar and wind projects.
Additionally, the bidder must have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 33 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 33 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformer, either as a developer or as an EPC Contractor. The same should be in successful operation for at least one year for industrial projects other than RE projects and for at least six months for RE projects, prior to the date of techno-commercial bid opening.
The average annual turnover of the bidder must not be less than INR 287.34 million, during the preceding three financial years as on the date of the techno-commercial bid opening. Bidders must have positive net worth as on the last day of the preceding financial year.
