NTPC signs MoU with MECON for Consultancy and Project Management Services for its Coal Mines
NTPC ltd has signed a MoU with MECON Ltd. for consultancy and project management services for its coal mines.

The MoU will help NTPC to utilize and implement MECON’s expertise in various fields. The expertise and experience of MECON will be truly beneficial for NTPC coal mines in engineering consultancy and project management services related to design, engineering mining infrastructure facilities, power supply and distribution facilities, mining plan, Feasibility Report (FR) /Detail Project Report (DPR) preparation/validation, and environmental compliances.
This MoU was signed by Shri Partha Mazumder, Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining) of NTPC and Shri R K Verma, GM (Marketing), MECON in the august presence of Shri Sanjay Kumar Verma, Director (Commercial) & CMD designate, MECON and other senior officials from both the companies.
