NTPC Renewable Energy Operationalises 50 MW at 200 MW Dayapar Wind Energy Project in Gujarat
NTPC Green Energy, through its wholly-owned subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy, has commissioned the first 50 MW of its 200 MW Dayapar Wind Energy Project Phase-II in Gujarat, taking the group’s total installed capacity to 9,201.08 MW.

NTPC Green Energy, a subsidiary of NTPC, has announced the commissioning of the first part capacity of 50 MW out of 200 MW Dayapar Wind Energy Project Phase-Il located in Gujarat, through its wholly-owned subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy.
With this addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Group has increased to 9,201.08 MW. The total installed capacity of the NTPC group stands at 88,182 MW, and commercial capacity at 87,102 MW, respectively, NTPC stated in a regulatory filing.
Last week, NTPC Green Energy operationalised 158.4 MW of a 250 MW solar project in Andhra Pradesh through its group company Ayana Renewable Power. Additionally, NGEL’s subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy commissioned the second part capacity of 210 MW at its 1,200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV project in Gujarat.
Earlier this month, NTPC Green Energy commissioned an additional 125 MW at its Bhadla Solar PV Project in Rajasthan, taking the plant’s operational capacity to 425 MW.
Last month, NGEL also operationalised 130.47 MW at its Khavda-I Solar Project in Gujarat.
In December 2025, NTPC Group added approximately 404.68 MW of capacity across Rajasthan and Gujarat. While NTPC operationalised about 78 MW at its Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan, NTPC Renewable Energy commissioned 326.68 MW of part capacity of its 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat.
By 2032, NTPC plans to have 60 GW capacity through RE sources, constituting nearly 45 percent of its overall power generation capacity.
