NTPC Renewable Energy Invites Bids for 250 MW Solar Project in Rajasthan
NTPC Renewable Energy has invited EPC bids for a 250 MW grid-connected solar PV project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Bid submission closes on June 30, 2025.

NTPC Renewable Energy (NTPC REL) has floated an EPC tender for the development of a 250 MW grid-connected solar PV project at Bikaner in Rajasthan.
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation, testing and commissioning of solar Photovoltaic plant including the supply of solar PV modules.
Bidders need to pay INR 22,500 as a tender document fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 10 crore as bid security.
The last date for submission of bids is June 30, 2025 till 3:00 PM. The techno-commercial bids will be opened at 3:30 PM on the same day.
The bidder must be a developer or an EPC company having designed, supplied, erected/supervised erection and commissioned/supervised commissioning of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 40 MWp or higher. Out of this, at least one plant must have been of 10 MWp or higher capacity. The reference plant of 10 MWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the date of the techno-commercial bid opening.
Alternatively, the bidder must have executed in the last 10 years an industrial project either as a developer or as an EPC contractor in the area of power, steel, oil and gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, cement, coal mining including coal handling plant and or any other process industry, of a value of at least INR 159 crore, in a single project or single work.
The same should be in successful operation for at least one year for industrial projects other than RE projects and for at least six months for solar and wind projects.
Additionally, the bidder must have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 33 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 33 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformer, either as a developer or as an EPC Contractor. The same should be in successful operation for at least one year for industrial projects other than RE projects and for at least six months for RE projects, prior to the date of techno-commercial bid opening.
The average annual turnover of the bidder must not be less than INR 159 crore, during the preceding three financial years as on the date of the techno-commercial bid opening. Bidders must have positive net worth as on the last day of the preceding financial year.
