NTPC Releases NIA for Enrolment of Wind Energy Developers

NTPC Ltd has announced that it has released a Notice Inviting Applications (NIA), inviting bids from qualified bidders for the enrolment of Wind Energy Projects (WEP) in India of NTPC.

The ephemeral range of work for registered wind energy developers will comprise, the design, engineering, micro-siting, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, commissioning and proving the guaranteed performance parameters for installation of the offered wind farm including Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), control panels, reactive power compensating devices, Central monitoring and control system (CMCS), Wind monitoring mast(s) etc.

Along with complete operation & maintenance of the offered wind farm as detailed in tech specs comprising the supply of all spare parts, consumables, repairs/replacement of any defective equipment.

The last date for application submission is February 27, 2019, and the date for the opening of the applications has also been scheduled for the same date.

To be eligible, the bidder should have manufactured, supplied, erected/supervised erection and commissioned/supervised commissioning of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) of minimum rating of 1500 KW. And, should have designed, erected/supervised erection and commissioned/supervised commissioning of at least one wind farm with installed capacity of minimum 10 MW along with associated civil & electrical works.

Additionally, the bidder should have an average annual turnover not less than Rs 299 crore during the preceding three completed financial years as on the date of the techno-commercial bid opening.

Lately, NTPC had issued another Notice Inviting Applications (NIA), inviting bids from qualified bidders for the enrolment of EPC Bidders for development of Solar Power Projects of NTPC. The last date for submission of applications is February 27, 2019, and the applications will be opened on February 28, 2019.
