NTPC REL Invites Bids for Supplying Modules for 1,000 MW Solar Projects in Uttar Pradesh

NTPC Renewable Energy has invited bids for the supply of crystalline bifacial solar PV modules (minimum 570 Wp) for 1,000 MW projects across Lalitpur and Chitrakoot in Uttar Pradesh. Bid submission ends on April 27, 2026.

NTPC Renewable Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, has floated a tender for the supply of solar PV modules for 1,000 MW solar PV projects in Lalitpur and Chitrakoot in Uttar Pradesh.
 
The scope of work under the package includes manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, and transportation of crystalline solar PV bifacial modules (minimum 570Wp nominal rating) of the Open category and included in ALMM List-I (for solar PV Modules).
 
Bidders must furnish INR 10 crore as a bid security for Package 1 or Package 2 (439.35 MWp) or Package 3 (585.8 MWp). If they intend to bid for more than one packages, they need to furnish INR 20 crore as bid security.
 
The last date for submission of bids is April 27, 2026 till 3:00 PM. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same day at 3:30 PM.
 
The bidder must have manufactured and supplied solar PV modules or solar PV cells of cumulative capacity of 200 MWp or above, within a period of any consecutive 12 months in the last five years, out of which at least one such supply order should be of 50 MWp or above capacity. Additionally, the bidder must have a minimum annual solar PV module manufacturing capacity of 1.67 times the total quoted capacity.
 
Alternatively, the bidder must have supplied solar PV modules or solar PV cells of cumulative capacity of 2.14 times the total quoted capacity (MWp) or above, within a period of any consecutive 12 months in the last five years, out of which at least one such supply order should be of 50 MWp or above capacity.
 
The average annual turnover of the bidder during the preceding three financial years as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening must not be less than: Total Quoted capacity in MWp x 0.209 (INR Crore).
