NTPC REL Floats Tender for 600 MW Wind Turbine Supply and Installation in Andhra Pradesh
NTPC Renewable Energy has invited bids for the supply and installation of 600 MW of ALMM-listed wind turbine generators in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. Bid submission ends on September 15, 2026.

NTPC Renewable Energy (NTPC REL) has floated a tender for the supply and installation of wind turbine generators (WTG) for an ISTS-connected wind energy project with a nominal capacity of 600 MW (200 WTG) in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
The scope of work includes detailed design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of ALMM (Wind) listed WTGs within the wind farm with a rating of 3.0 MW or above.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of INR 50 crore.
The last date for submission of bids is September 15, 2026 till 3:00 PM. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same day at 3:30 PM.
Bidders must establish the guaranteed performance parameters for the entire wind power project by installation of the offered WTGs along with control panels, SCADA, along with controls and systems software, etc.
Detailed design engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning for installation of unit substation (USS) associated with each of the offered WTGs, along with electrical works required for grid integration, will be under the bidder’s scope of work.
Bidders will also be responsible for erection and installation works, including the civil works like foundations of WTG towers and their associated USS, control cabins for housing control panel near tower base (if required), etc.
Bidders must provide 10 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance of the supplied system under this package.
The bidder must be a manufacturer of an approved WTG model of minimum rating 3,000 kW in the latest ALMM (Wind) List.
The average annual turnover of the bidder must be at least INR 102.40 lakh/MW during the preceding three financial years. The bidder must have a positive net worth as on the last day of the preceding financial year or as on the last day of the preceding financial quarter.
