NTPC REL Floats EPC Tender for 1 GW Solar Project in AP
NTPC Renewable Energy has invited bids for the EPC development of a 1,000 MW ground-mounted solar PV project at Kambadur, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, in two 500 MW blocks. Bid submission ends on November 16, 2026.

NTPC Renewable Energy has floated an EPC tender for the development of 1,000 MW of ground-mounted solar PV projects at Kambadur, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
The 1,000 MW solar project is proposed to be executed tentatively under EPC mode as two blocks of 500 MW.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing, loading and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation, testing and commissioning of solar PV power project including supply of solar PV modules.
The scope also includes design and construction of foundation and erection of tracker-based Module Mounting Structure (MMS) for SPV panels, including fixing of PV Modules with MMS and PV Modules interconnection.
The last date for submission of bids is November 16, 2026, till 3:00 PM. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same day at 3:30 PM.
All associated electrical and civil works required for interfacing with the 400 kV grid, i.e. transformers, breakers, isolators, panels, protection system, cables. Metering at 400kV level and evacuation of power at the substation are provided by APNHAL. The PSS and power transformer will be under the EPC scope.
