India's leading power utility, NTPC Limited, has issued an open tender, inviting bids from renewable energy (RE) power generators to supply 1200 MW of firm and dispatchable power. The sourced power will originate from inter-state transmission system (ISTS)-connected renewable energy projects across India. This initiative aims to bolster India's renewable energy capacity while guaranteeing a dependable peak power supply.
This International Competitive Bidding process, designated with the IFB No. NTPC/RE-CS/2024-25/FDRE-01, seeks proposals from eligible bidders on a Built-Own-Operate basis.
