NTPC Issues Tenders for Rooftop Solar Plant worth 530 kW in Maharashtra

NTPC Ltd has announced that it has issued a tender, inviting bids from qualified bidders for setting up of rooftop solar power plant worth 530 kW at its Mouda STPS facility in Maharashtra.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the supply, erection and commissioning of the 530 kWp rooftop solar plant at NTPC-Mouda with all miscellaneous items required to complete the facility covering all the activities and services in respect of all the equipment and works specified in the tender. The project developers will have a period of 270 days to complete the work on the project.

The last date for submission of bids is March 5, 2020, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the following date i.e. March 6, 2019. The date and time of opening of the price bids will be intimated to the technically cleared bidders separately. All bids must be accompanied by bid security for an amount of Rs 5 lakh in the form as stipulated in the Bidding Documents.

To be entitled for participating in the bidding process, the bidders should have designed, supplied, ‘erected/ supervised erection’ and ‘commissioned/ supervised commissioning’ of SPV based grid-connected power plant of at least one plant of 100 kWp or above and cumulative capacity of 424 kWp or above. The reference plant of 100 kWp or above capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening.

Furthermore, the average annual turnover of the bidder, should not be less than Rs 2.966 crore during the preceding three completed financial years.
