NTPC Issues Tender for Rooftop Solar Plant worth 150 kW at Farakka Township

NTPC Ltd. has announced that it has released a tender, requesting bids from qualified bidders for setting up of 150 kW rooftop solar PV plant in the hospital building of Field Hostel Township at NTPC Farakka in West Bengal.

The scope of work will include the supply, installation, and commissioning of the solar rooftop system. The selected bidders will also be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance of the system. The winning bidders will have a period of 6 months from the date of award to complete the work on the project.

The last date for bid submission is August 5, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the following date i.e. July 6, 2019. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 1 lakh along with their bids as a bid security amount.

To be qualified, the bidder should have designed, supplied, erected/supervised erection and commissioned/supervised commissioning of solar photovoltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant of at least one plant of 100 kWp or above and cumulative capacity of 120 kWp or above. The reference plant must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the date of the techno-commercial bid opening.

Moreover, the average annual turnover of the bidder during the preceding three years should not be less than Rs 79.5 lakh.
