NTPC Invites Bids for DPR Preparation of 800 MW Amba Pumped Storage Project
NTPC has issued a tender for empanelling consultant to prepare Detailed Project Report (DPR) for its 800 MW Amba Pumped Storage Project in Maharashtra.

National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Ltd. has recently floated a tender for empanelling an experienced consultant for the preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) for its 800 MW Amba Pumped Storage Project in Maharashtra.
The scope of work includes preparing of bankable DPR of international standards for maximum annual power generation with competitive tariff considering economical water usage and overall cost, commensurate for taking up the construction work of the project.
NTPC may intend to approach international funding agencies like World Bank, JICA, ADB, JBIC etc. for funding and therefore, DPR shall include all studies analysis and reports, which are usually required by such Agencies.
Bidders need to deposit a bid security amount of INR 50 lakh.
Pre-bid meeting will be held on October 4, 2024. The last date for submission of bids in October 16, 2024 till 3:00 PM. Bids will be opened on October 16, 2024 at 3:30 PM.
The tender document specifies that bidder should be a registered Indian Company and should have experience of completion of Detailed Project Report of at least one hydroelectric project or pumped storage project of at least 100 MW installed capacity within last 15 years prior to the date of bid opening.
As for the financial eligibility, the average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than INR 18.97 crore. The net worth of the bidder as on the last day of the preceding financial year should not be less than 100 percent of its paid-up share capital.
