NTPC Invites Bids for 1200 MW ISTS-Connected Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Projects

NTPC Ltd. has announced a call for online bids from eligible bidders for the selection of hybrid power generators to supply 1200 MW of power from ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects across India. 

This initiative, named NTPC-Tranche-VI, will be conducted on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis. The bidding process will follow a Single Stage Two Envelope system, comprising Envelope-I for Technical Bids and Envelope-II for Financial Bids, with a subsequent Reverse Auction.

The Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) number for this project is NTPC/RE-CS/2024-25/HYBRID-01. The sale of documents and the issue date for the NIT commenced on June 30, 2024. The closing date for the document sale is set for July 23, 2024, while the deadline for bid submission is August 7, 2024. Bids will be opened on the same day, August 7, 2024. The cost of the Request for Selection (RfS) documents is INR 22,500.

All bids must be accompanied by an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) calculated at the rate of INR 11.60 lakh per MW, in the form specified in the RfS documents. Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) with UDYAM registration are exempted from submitting the cost of RfS documents, processing fees, and EMD. For a consortium to qualify for this exemption, all members must be registered as MSEs. The qualifying requirements for bidders are detailed in the RfS documents.

The cost of the RfS documents must be submitted along with the GSTIN and Organization ID registered with the ETS portal. For more information and detailed bid submission guidelines, interested bidders should refer to the official RfS documents.
