NTPC Green Energy Signs MoU with Rajasthan Government for 25 GW RE Projects
The IPO-bound NTPC Green Energy Ltd. has signed a MoU with the Government of Rajasthan for the development of 25 GW of renewable energy projects in Rajasthan.

NTPC Green Energy Ltd. (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Rajasthan for the development of 25 GW of renewable energy projects in Rajasthan.
It was signed during the Rising Rajasthan Investor Meet in New Delhi. The MoU was exchanged between K.S. Sundaram, Director (Projects), NGEL and Alok (IAS), ACS (Energy) in the presence of Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma. Senior officials from the Government of Rajasthan and NGEL were also present on the occasion.
NGEL recently filed a Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to raise INR 10,000 Crore through an Initial Public Offering (IPO) which is expected to open in early November.
