NTPC Green Energy Operationalises 64.76 MW of 225 MW Khavda Solar Project

NTPC Green Energy, through its wholly-owned subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy, has commissioned 64.76 MW of its 225 MW solar project at GSECL RE Park in Khavda, Gujarat, taking the group's total installed capacity to 10,786.56 MW.

NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) has announced that the company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy, has commissioned the first part capacity of 64.76 MW out of the 225 MW GSECL RE Park at Khavda, Gujarat.
 
With this addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Group has increased to 10,786.56 MW, stated the company in a regulatory filing.
 
Earlier this month, NGEL operationalised the first part capacity of 50.4 MW of the Vanki Wind Power Project in Nakhatrana, Kutch, Gujarat.
 
In May 2026, NGEL operationalised the eighth and the last part capacity of 105 MW, thereby fully commissioning its 1,200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project located in Gujarat.
 
In March 2026, the company operationalised the third and last part capacity of 75 MW at its 500 MW Bhadla solar PV project located in Phalodi, Rajasthan and the twelfth and last part capacity of 78.02 MW at its 1,255 MW Khavda-I solar PV project located in Gujarat.
 
By 2032, NTPC Group plans to have 60 GW capacity through RE sources, constituting nearly 45 percent of its overall power generation capacity.
