NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) and Indus Towers Limited (ITL) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The agreement, signed at SCOPE Complex, New Delhi, emphasizes the pressing need to accelerate green energy initiatives and align with the Government of India's vision for a carbon-neutral economy.

The MoU ceremony saw the participation of esteemed representatives, including Soumya Kanti Chowdhuri, Chief General Manager of NGEL, and Vikas Poddar, Chief Financial Officer of ITL, along with other senior officials from both organizations.

The core objective of the MoU is to jointly explore and develop grid-connected renewable energy-based power projects, encompassing diverse solutions such as solar, wind, energy storage, and more.

This initiative aligns with the company's broader commitment to achieving Net Zero emissions, reflecting its dedication to environmental stewardship.

Through this partnership, NGEL and ITL aim to leverage their respective expertise and resources to advance the adoption of renewable energy solutions across India.
