NTPC Green Energy Invites Bids for 2,500 kW Central Inverters for 140 MW Solar Project in Uttar Pradesh

NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) has invited bids for the supply of 2,500 kW TBEA central inverters for its 140 MW solar project in Bilhaur, Uttar Pradesh.

NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) has floated a tender for the supply of 2,500 kW central inverters for its 140 MW solar power project in Bilhaur, Uttar Pradesh.

The central inverters must be TBEA’s model – TC2500KF, which are fully compatible with the existing TBEA inverters already installed at the project site, and designed as direct replacements without requiring any modifications.

The last date for submission of Bids is April 8, 2025. The bids will be opened on the same day.

The selected vendors are required to provide a contract performance guarantee equivalent to 10 percent of the total order value.

Bidders must submit an interchangeability certificate confirming the new inverters' compatibility with the existing systems, along with factory test reports at the time of material delivery.

The inverters must carry a warranty of 12 months from commissioning or 18 months from receipt, whichever is earlier.

The tender further specifies that delays in fulfilling project requirements will incur liquidated damages of 0.5 percent of the unexecuted order value per week, capped at 5 percent of the total order value.

Only Class I local suppliers, as defined under the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017, and its amendments, are eligible to participate.
