NTPC Green Energy Commissions Full 150 MW Gujarat Solar Project
NTPC Green Energy has fully commissioned its 150 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project, with the final 60 MW becoming operational on April 16, 2025, under GUVNL’s 500 MW Solar Phase XII tender.<br />

NTPC Green Energy Ltd. (NGEL) has announced the commercial operation of the final 60 MW capacity of its 150 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project.
The project, executed through its subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd., was awarded under GUVNL’s 500 MW Solar (Phase XII) tender.
According to a certificate issued by the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) dated April 30, 2025, the final phase was declared commercially operational from April 16, 2025. The earlier 60 MW and 30 MW phases were commissioned on July 29, 2024, and December 11, 2024, respectively.
NTPC Green Energy is advancing India's renewable energy landscape through strategic projects and partnerships across multiple states, aiming for 60 GW capacity by 2032 to support national sustainability goals.
