NTPC Crosses 1 GW Annual Capacity Mark in Renewable Energy in FY23
Country’s largest power generator NTPC Ltd has crossed the milestone of 1 GW annual capacity in the renewable energy (RE) segment for the first time by adding 1,074.59 MW of RE capacity in FY23.

Country’s largest power generator NTPC Ltd has crossed the milestone of 1 GW annual capacity in the renewable energy (RE) segment for the first time by adding 1,074.59 MW of RE capacity in FY23.
NTPC announced that its 240 MW Devikot solar project at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan has begun commercial operations. Consequent upon the successful commissioning of entire capacities of 150 MW and 90 MW Devikot Solar PV Projects at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, are declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 Hrs. of December 13, 2022.
With this, the standalone installed and commercial capacity of NTPC has become 58,041.27 MW, while group installed and commercial capacity of NTPC has become 70,656.27 MW.
