National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) has recognised IB Solar with the “Solar Manufacturing Excellence” award, highlighting the company’s contribution to advancing domestic solar manufacturing and clean energy adoption in India.

The award was presented by Union Minister of State for Power, and New and Renewable Energy, Shripad Yesso Naik. The recognition acknowledges IB Solar’s sustained focus on innovation, quality, and high-performance solar solutions.

“The award highlights our contribution toward advancing clean energy adoption and supporting the nation’s renewable energy goals through high-performance solar solutions and manufacturing capabilities for more than a decade now,” stated the company.

IB Solar, a division of Integrated Batteries, manufactures high-efficiency solar panels, advanced energy-storage systems, and integrated solar solutions. The company recently enhanced the module manufacturing capacity of its plant in Noida from 600 MW to 1.8 GW. The company’s state-of-the-art production line is capable of manufacturing advanced M10 TOPCon, M10R, and G12R solar modules.

“Our cutting-edge 1.8 GW manufacturing facility in Noida is now expanding into a 5 GW fully automated solar module line, supported by an upcoming solar cell manufacturing division. Strengthening both our backward and forward integration capabilities, along with our advanced EPC and turnkey project solutions, to build a world-class, fully self-reliant solar ecosystem,” stated the company.

In September 2026, IB Solar announced plans to invest INR 3,000 crore in a 4 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) approved the allotment of 25 acres in Sector 8 for the project.
