NPCIL Issues Tenders for Rooftop Solar Plants worth 775 kW

The scope of work for the selected developers will include the supply and installation of a total 775 kWp capacity rooftop solar PV system for NPCIL in accordance with the latest appropriate IEC/Indian Standards as detailed in the relevant Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) scheme

The Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) has announced that it has issued a tender, pursuing eligible developers for setting up of 775 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar power plants at its RR site buildings in different units and offices in Maharashtra.

The scope of work for the selected developers will include the supply and installation of a total 775 kWp capacity rooftop solar PV system for NPCIL in accordance with the latest appropriate IEC/Indian Standards as detailed in the relevant Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) scheme. The developers will also have to provide with Warrantee for operation and maintenance (O&M) of the plant for a period of five years after installation and final acceptance as per the attached detail scope of work and technical specifications.

To be eligible for partaking in the bidding process, the bidders should have experience in the supply and installation of solar PV power plants and solar systems of cumulative capacity not less than 50 kWp as per MNRE/ SECI standards in the last seven financial years on the last date of bid opening. The solar plants must be in satisfactory operation for at least six months from the date of commissioning.

The last date for bid submission is March 21, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date. The date and time of opening of the price bids will be intimated later to the technically selected bidders.
