NLC, Juniper, Powerica, Cu-Built Win GUVNL’s 250 MW Wind Power Auction

NLC India Renewables, Juniper Green Energy, Powerica and Cu-Built Renewable Energy have emerged as the winners in GUVNL's 250 MW Phase-XI wind power auction.

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam’s auction to procure power from 250 MW of grid-connected wind projects (Phase-XI) has discovered an L1 bid (lowest tariff) of INR 3.51/kWh.
 
NLC India Renewables, Juniper Green Energy, Powerica and Cu-Built Renewable Energy have emerged as winders.
 
NLC India Renewables, Juniper Green Energy and Powerica have secured 100 MW, 50 MW and 50 MW, respectively at a tariff of INR 3.51/kWh. Cu-Built Renewable Energy has won 50 MW at a tariff of INR 3.52/kWh.
 
The tender for this was floated in May 2026.
 
GUVNL shall enter into a PPA with the successful bidders for a period of 25 years.
 
As per the tender specifications, developers shall be required to set up wind power project(s), including the transmission network for connecting the project with the CTU/STU network. The projects shall be located at the locations chosen by the bidders anywhere in India at their own discretion of cost, risk and responsibility.
 
The type-certified wind turbine models listed in 'Approved list of Models and Manufacturers (Wind)', prepared by MNRE and amended from time to time, will only be allowed to be deployed in the projects.
 
The offered/declared annual CUF must not be less than 25 percent. The developer must install and maintain a GPS-enabled Automatic Weather Station (AWS).
