NLC India Invites Bids for 579.74 MWp Solar Module Supply in Rajasthan

NLC India Ltd., on behalf of its subsidiary NLC India Renewable Ltd (NIRL), has issued a tender to procure 579.74 MWp of solar PV modules for its Rajasthan solar project, aiming to accelerate capacity addition under its expanding renewable energy portfolio.

NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL), on behalf of its subsidiary NLC India Renewable Ltd (NIRL), has floated a domestic competitive tender for the procurement of 579.74 MWp of crystalline solar PV modules for the upcoming 810 MW solar power project at the RVUN Solar Park in Pugal, Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The tender covers the manufacturing, supply, packing, forwarding, transportation and transit insurance of modules to the project site.

According to the notice, the tender document costs INR 20,000, while the bid guarantee has been set at INR 4.32 crore. The pre-bid meeting will be held virtually on 10 Decembe, and the deadline for bid submission is 30 Decembe, followed by the opening of Part-I bids on the same day.

Participation is limited to ALMM-listed manufacturers meeting specified technical requirements. Bidders must have supplied at least 200 MWp of solar modules or cells, including a single order of 50 MWp or more. Group companies may participate through a joint undertaking mechanism.

On the financial front, bidders must demonstrate a positive net worth and a minimum average annual turnover of INR 173 crore over the last three financial years. Supporting documents, including GST registration, PAN details, audited financial statements and records of past performance, are mandatory.

NLCIL has stated that it may verify all submissions, inspect bidder facilities and reject proposals without assigning reasons. The tender is governed by the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017, with purchase preference applicable to eligible local suppliers.
