Rajasthan Solar Park Development Company’s (RSDCL) auction for setting up 2,450 MW of solar projects integrated with 1,600 MW/6,400 MWh energy storage systems (ESS) at Pugal Solar Park in Rajasthan has attracted tariffs of INR 3.42-3.53/kWh.

The package was divided into two lots: Lot 1 – 2,000 MW divided into 8 plots of 250 MW each with 165 MW/660 MWh of BESS per plot, and Lot 2 – 450 MW divided into 2 plots of 225 MW each with 140 MW/560 MWh of BESS per plot.

In Lot 1, NLC India Renewables and Rama Reflection India have won 1,000 MW and 250 MW, respectively, at a tariff of INR 3.53/kWh. Coal India has secured the balance 750 MW, out of the quoted 1,000 MW, at a tariff of INR 3.54/kWh, under the bucket-filling method.

In Lot 2, Coal India has emerged as the L1 bidder and secured 225 MW at a tariff of INR 3.42/kWh. Leo Energies 6 (Leo Energies) has won 225 MW at a tariff of INR 3.43/kWh.
