NHPC Invites Bids for 2,568 kW Rooftop Solar Projects in Nagaland
NHPC has invited bids to develop 2,568 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects across government buildings in Nagaland under the RESCO model, through tariff-based competitive bidding. Bid submission ends on July 11, 2025.

NHPC has floated a tender for the selection of rooftop developers for setting up grid-connected solar rooftop plants with a cumulative capacity of about 2,568 kW at various locations on government buildings in Nagaland on RESCO mode through tariff-based competitive bidding.
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, procurement and supply of components, erection, and commissioning. It also involves securing all necessary project permits and licenses. The projects must be completed within 9 months.
Bidders need to pay INR 5,000 as a tender document fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 25.43 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
The last date for submission of bids is July 11, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on July 15, 2025.
Selected bidders will be responsible for facilitating net metering, obtaining no-objection certificates (if applicable), and ensuring seamless synchronization with the existing distribution network at the project sites.
Only modules from the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers of a minimum 500 Wp capacity must be used in the projects. The PV Module efficiency should be a minimum of 20 percent.
The bidder must be a developer or an EPC player having designed, supplied, erected and commissioned solar photovoltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 400 kWp or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 40 kWp or more.
Alternatively, the bidder must have executed in the last 10 years either as a developer or as an EPC contractor in the process industry or in infrastructure development of a single work having a minimum value of INR 4 crore.
Additionally, the bidder must have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 11 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 11 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformer, either as a developer or as an EPC contractor which should be commissioned up to the last date of submission of bid.
As for financial eligibility, the average annual turnover in the preceding 3 years must not be less than INR 5.09 crore. The bidder must have a positive net worth in at least two financial years out of the last three financial years, with the condition of positive net worth in the immediately preceding financial year. The bidder must possess a working capital of at least INR 2.83 crore.
