NHPC Appoints Rajendra Prasad Goyal as Chairman and Managing Director
Rajendra Prasad Goyal, Director (Finance), NHPC, has assumed the additional charge of the post of Chairman and Managing Director of NHPC Limited, India's leading hydropower company and a Schedule 'A' enterprise of the Government of India.

Rajendra Prasad Goyal, Director (Finance), NHPC, has assumed the additional charge of the post of Chairman and Managing Director of NHPC Limited, India's leading hydropower company and a Schedule 'A' enterprise of the Government of India.
Goyal joined NHPC as a Finance Professional on 18th November 1988 and has steadily progressed in his professional career with a strong sense of responsibility, ethics and dedication towards the Company.
Goyal is a member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and also holds a Master of Commerce degree from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. He has over 35 years of wide experience in diverse areas of Finance in NHPC. He also has a deep understanding of the financial, contractual and regulatory issues involved in the construction and operation of hydropower projects.
Goyal is Chairman of NHPC Subsidiaries: Lanco Teesta Hydro Power Limited (LTHPL), Jal Power Corporation Limited (JPCL), Bundelkhand Solar Energy Limited (BSUL) and NHPC Renewable Energy Limited (NREL) and Chairman of NHDC Limited, Chenab Valley Power Projects Pvt. Ltd. (CVPPPL), Ratle Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd. (RHPCL) and Loktak Downstream Hydroelectric Corporation Ltd. (LDHCL) as Nominee Directors on the Boards. Goyal is also a member of the Executive Board of the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), New Delhi.
