New Zealand Companies scout for Indian partners at 9th REI Expo

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) has announced that it has has brought together ten companies from New Zealand to participate in the 9th Renewable Energy India Expo in Noida. These companies are from varied sectors focusing on issues such as clean technology, renewable energy to business incubation and environment planning.

“India is our tenth largest export destination with two-way trade in goods and services totaling USD$1.2 billion in the year to June 2015. India is also our sixth largest market for service exporters and there are growing opportunities for innovative technology suppliers,” says Minister Adams.

New Zealand plans to raise its renewable energy generating capability from 80 to 90 percent by 2025 and could provide India’s fast growing renewable energy sector a definite boost by providing innovative assistance and advanced technologies. This could help Indian Government improvise the environment to support sustainable growth. New Zealand is at the forefront of developing technologies that not only harness renewable materials but also reduce emissions and waste and this can nurture the Indian Government’s initiative of Clean India.

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise is working with ETI Dynamics to support these ten New Zealand companies establish their brand in the Indian market. ETI Dynamics is a multinational technology accelerator, infrastructure developer and investor focused on sustainable development.

“The fact that this is the fourth industry interaction between India and New Zealand in under a year is a testimony to the collaboration potential both nations have to further be sustainable development agenda.
