Solar rooftop solutions provider MYSUN has successfully commissioned a 897 KWp rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in Pithampur, an industrial city near Indore, in the state of Madhya Pradesh (MP).
The project was undertaken for a leading insulation and Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) manufacturing company. This solar plant of 897 KWp will help the industry save around Rs 1 crore every year on their power bills.
With this plant, MYSUN has expanded active operations in Madhya Pradesh and consolidated its position as the leading customised solar solutions provider.
This is a grid-tied system and is commissioned with Net Metering, which means the unutilised power will be sent back to the DISCOM, giving the industry benefit of enhanced savings.
The company said that the plant uses premium solar equipment to ensure durability and long lifespan. It would not only manage the bottom line expenses of the company but also would take care of carbon footprint with total CO2 eradication of around 26,000 tons, which is equivalent to planting 42,000 trees.
Commenting on the development, Gagan Vermani, Founder and CEO of MYSUN, said “we are delighted to commission this plant in the industrial city famously known as ‘Detroit of India’. Our client partners across the country benefit from our superior engineering and unwavering customer support apart from our innovative financing solutions which make it easy and reliable to solarize. We are committed to helping India realise its solar potential.”
