My Eco Energy set to unveil its first Indizel fuel station in Lonikand, Pune

In line with their Commitment to make India Energy Independent, My Eco Energy (MEE) has developed renewable diesel like no other. They are to launch first Indizel fuel station in Lonikand, Pune on 14th August 2014. The fuel station will be inaugurated by Social activist Anna Hazare. The construction of this fuel station is part of efforts aimed at providing energy solutions that are efficient and environmentally friendly. My Eco Energy also believe that with such an innovation, the cost of doing business will be reduced and this would lead to further investments for economic growth and development. ‘Indizel’- Bio Diesel from MEE’s Lonikand pump will cater to people in Mumbai, Pune and Nashik.

What is Indizel?

Indizel existence came into being as we were looking to bring in something which was a complete alternative to petroleum diesel. ‘Indizel’ is a clean burning bio-fuel from My Eco Energy, which is a complete alternative to conventional petrol-diesel. We were also aware that the next renewable fuel has to use the existing infrastructure and Indizel fits the bill perfectly as it is suitable for all diesel engines which can use existing tanks and pumps. It is seamlessly interchangeable with petroleum diesel without any engine modifications and there are no limitations on blending unlike the other bio-fuels.It can be used to power various commercial diesel vehicular mediums like cars, buses, trucks, trains, bulldozers, ships and agricultural tractors along with other machinery like electricity generators, industrial boilers & furnaces.

From a fuel station to a kiosk to even an Indizel outlet where any business owner who plans to retail Indizel by adding to his existing SKU’s within his existing retail infrastructure can benefit. With a small space to spare and a minimum capital investment he can reap profits from retailing Indizel. Depending on the capital investment and the space, the retailer can choose the size of the tank he wishes to install along with a mounted pump.

Currently, the company has ongoing research on output of algae and straw. The companies total production capacity stands at 25 lakh liters a day. My Eco Energy's future growth plan includes fuel availablity at 500 fuel stations in Gujrat Maharashtra along with 2000-3000 smaller outlets of Indizel in these states.

Environmental Benefits: A U.S. Department of Energy study showed that the production and use of biodiesel resulted in a 78.5% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions compared to petroleum diesel. Therefore, Indizel can ultimately contribute to counteracting the increased levels of carbon dioxide, particulate matters, hydrocarbons, sulphur oxides, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide and air toxics trapped in the atmosphere as a result of long-term burning of fossil fuels. Additionally, biodiesel has a positive energy balance. For every unit of energy needed to produce a gallon of biodiesel 4.5 units of energy are gained.

Vehicle Benefits:

• Indizel yields a high level of combustion quality during compression ignition which is measured by the cetane number. It has a higher cetane number than petroleum diesel fuel. Better combustion ensures better mileage and more power.
• Indizel has higher lubricating properties which increases engine life
• Indizel is seamlessly interchangeable with petroleum diesel and doesn’t require any engine modifications.
• Indizel is intended to be used as a replacement for petroleum diesel and can be blended with petroleum diesel fuel in any proportion.
