MSEDCL Invites Bids for Procurement of Power from 500 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Projects

Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) has released a Request for Selection (RfS) document, inviting bids for the procurement of power on a long-term basis through a competitive bidding process.
The procurement will be followed by a reverse e-auction from 500 MW inter/intra state grid connected Wind-Solar Hybrid projects, with a green shoe option of additional capacity up to 500 MW.
Key dates for prospective bidders include a pre-bid conference scheduled for March 20, 2024, accessible through an online platform, and a submission deadline of April 4, 2024, at 11:00 Hrs for online responses to RfS and required documentation.
Details regarding technical and financial bid openings, as well as the reverse e-auction, will be disclosed later. Interested parties must comply with specified costs and fees, including a non-refundable RfS document cost of INR 25,000/- (plus applicable GST), a processing fee of INR 15 Lakhs plus applicable GST per response/bid, and an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 11 lakh/MW to be submitted as a Bank Guarantee.
