Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam (MPJN) has issued a tender to select a renewable energy project developer to set up a 60 MW grid-connected wind power project under captive mode.
The project will be developed as a single wind farm, linked to the 132 kV substation of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MPPTCL) via pooling stations equipped with 15 MW bays. The generated power will be transmitted through open access to supply MPJN’s water pumping and treatment facilities.
Bidders need to pay INR 50,000 as a tender document fee and another INR 1,180 as a processing fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 50 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD). Selected bidders need to deposit INR 17.25 crore as a performance security.
The last date for submission of bids is August 22, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on August 25, 2025.
“The selected bidder shall be responsible for identifying and acquiring the land as per the micro-siting details for setting up the wind power plant. The minimum size required for setting up the WTGs procurement shall be in the scope of the company,” noted the tender document.
Bidders must have successfully completed and operationalised grid-connected wind power projects with a cumulative capacity of at least 15 MW during the last seven years. Out of this, at least one grid-connected wind power project must have an individual capacity of at least 10 MW. As for financial eligibility, bidders must possess a minimum net worth of INR 51.75 crore.
