MNRE to Set Up Renewable Energy Standarization Cell

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has announced that it has released a notification resoluting the setting up of Renewable Energy Standarization Cell.
The Standarization cell envisages to act as a channel of communication facilitating the identification of new subjects & relevent subject matter experts for standarization with different sectors.
The objective of RESC is-
- it identify the areas in the renewable energy where standards need to be developed/updated/adopted
- identify and pursue international standards such as ISO, IEC, etc. for applications in Indian Climatic Conditons.
