MNRE Issues Clarification on RLMM Wind Turbine Certification
MNRE has clarified RLMM procedures, directing wind energy stakeholders to update Type Certificates within three months, with certification body clarifications accepted for compliance.

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has clarified procedures for the inclusion and updating of wind turbine models under the Revised List of Models and Manufacturers (RLMM).
The circular, issued by the Wind Energy Division, instructs stakeholders to revise their Type Certificates in accordance with Clause 4(h) of the amendment dated July 31, 2025. Companies have been given three months from the date of that amendment to comply.
It further notes that a statement from the Type Certification Body, detailing the location and address of components mentioned in Clause 4(h), will also be accepted as valid documentation.
The directive, cleared by the Competent Authority, is addressed to all parties in the wind energy sector.
