Military Engineer Services Invites Bids for 1,100 kW Rooftop Solar Projects in Nagaland
The Military Engineer Services (MES) has issued a tender for the installation of rooftop solar plants totalling 1,100 kW at certain buildings at Rangapahar Military Station in Nagaland. Bid submission ends on May 22, 2025.

The approximate value of the tender is INR 7.28 crore. The projects must be completed in 9 months. The bidders must also offer 5 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance.
The scope of work includes designing, procuring, testing for quality, supplying, installing, and integrating rooftop solar systems – ranging from 14 kW to 75 kW, with the planned electrical infrastructure, followed by commissioning and performance validation.
Bidders need to pay INR 3,000 as a tender fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 6.89 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
The last date for submission of bids is May 22, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on May 24, 2025.
Bidders with MES enlistment must be of Class ‘A’ and above.
Contractors not registered with MES must meet the ‘A’ Class enlistment criteria, including successful completion of similar value projects with government or related agencies, required annual turnover, bank solvency, working capital, and other conditions outlined in the MES Manual of Contracts 2020.
The contractor must possess experience of having successfully completed and commissioned solar power plants in government department/PSU during last seven years. This must include projects of capacity of at least 30 kW each for three projects, 37.50 kW each for two projects and 60 kW for one such project.
