Microtek Launches New Battery Energy Storage System at REI 2026

Microtek has launched its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at the ongoing Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026, being held from October 22 to 24 at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida. The launch marks the company's entry into the high-voltage energy storage segment.

The newly introduced range includes the i-BESS 125kW/261kWh system and a high-voltage lithium battery pack. The energy storage solutions are designed for applications such as peak shaving, microgrid integration and electricity cost optimisation.

At the expo, Microtek is also showcasing its portfolio of solar panels, solar inverters, lithium batteries, home inverters, UPS systems, batteries and electrical wires. The company's integrated portfolio covers power generation, distribution, conditioning and storage.

Microtek's participation at REI Expo 2026 aligns with its focus on expanding its solar and energy storage offerings for residential and commercial applications. The company also supports rooftop solar adoption through solutions intended to help consumers generate, store and manage electricity.

Microtek’s reach is supported by over 1 lakh dealers across India. The company expects to more than double revenue in FY27 to INR 5,000 crore, with an ambition to reach INR 10,000 crore within two years.
