Meeting to obtaining SNAs view on issues of EDEC/CCDC to Roof top off grid Solar Power Projects
To gain recommendation for approval of Bill of Material of SPDs

On 16th January 2014 , MNRE has organised for a meet with SNAs for obtaining their views about cases relating to issue of EDEC/CCDC to Roof top off grid Solar Power Projects. The meeting will be presided by Mr. Tarun Kapoor, Joint Secretary , MNRE. It is suppose to be held at 11.00am at MNRE, New Delhi. Following issues are expected to be disscussed at the meet:
- Recommendation for approval of Bill of Material of SPDs for setting up of Roof top Solar Power Projects (not connected to grid), by respective SNAs.
- Authorizing the SNAs for issue of Excise Duty Exemption Certificate(EDEC)/Concessional Custom Duty Certificate(CCDC) to the Off grid roof top Solar Power Projects.
