MEDA Invites Bids for 1095 kW Solar PV Plants with Net Metering at Police Stations

The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency has recently released an EPC tender for setting up solar PV plants with net metering in 39 police stations in Maharashtra with a cumulative capacity of 1095 kW.

The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) has floated an EPC tender for survey, design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing and commissioning with operation and maintenance for 5 years of 1095 kW solar PV power plant with net metering at 32 police stations in Gadchiroli and 7 in Bhandara district of Maharashtra.

The estimated cost of the project is INR 6.02 crore and the project needs to be completed within 150 days of receiving the work order.

Bidders need to deposit a tender fee of INR 29,500 and a bid processing fee of INR 500. They also need to submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of INR 6.02 lakh. Selected bidders need to transfer a security deposit of three percent of the contract value by RTGS/NEFT.

The pre-bid meeting will be held on September 23, 2024. The last date for submission of bids is September 26, 2024. Bids will be opened on September 27, 2024.

As per the tender document, the bidder should have executed similar work of the Central/State/State Govt. Undertaking/Central Govt. Undertaking and for other public sector entities. Experience in Maharashtra will be preferred.

The bidder needs to have completed three similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40 percent of the estimated cost during the last five years i.e. INR 2.41 crore. For one such work, the work should be costing at least INR 4.82 crore. For two such works, each of the works should not cost less than INR 3.01 crore.

Further, the bidder should have successfully completed the work of supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a grid-connected solar PV power plant with net metering, not less than 330 kW in any one year during the last five years.
