MaxVolt Energy has expanded its manufacturing operations with a new 55,000 sq. ft. facility in the Duhai Industrial Area. The plant, designed to enhance the company’s production capacity, is under development and is scheduled to become operational by February 2026.

According to an official statement, with this expansion, the company will increase its annual production capacity from 72,000 units to 2.25 lakh units. The facility will feature advanced automation, high-performance production lines, and modern machinery, improving operational efficiency, product quality, and output. This scale-up will support rising demand for dependable, environmentally responsible energy-storage solutions across mobility, solar, and industrial sectors.

The expansion aligns with the company’s strong financial performance. In the first half of FY26, MaxVolt Energy recorded revenue of INR 130.8 crore, surpassing its full-year revenue of over INR 107 crore in the previous financial year. The year-on-year growth reflects increasing market adoption of its products and a wider national presence, driven by demand in clean energy and electric mobility.

MaxVolt Energy continues to promote responsible battery management. Along with its battery take-back and reuse programme, the company has established a repurposing facility and is developing a dedicated recycling plant in India. With sales reach covering approximately 70 percent of the country, the company helps customers return used batteries, which are then repurposed for solar streetlights, portable electronics, and other rechargeable applications. These efforts reduce battery waste and support material recovery.

The company acknowledges the role of government policies in enabling its expansion. Supportive schemes, subsidies, and programmes have reduced investment and operational costs for manufacturing facilities. Incentives for electric vehicles have also strengthened demand, encouraged liquidity, and improved long-term growth prospects for the sector.

Commenting on the expansion, Satendra Shukla, Co-Founder, CEO and Business Development Head, said, “This new plant reflects our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and India’s energy-storage needs. Tripling our production capacity strengthens our market position and supports our goal of contributing to a cleaner future.”

Vishal Gupta, Co-Founder, Chairman and CTO, added, “This facility marks a significant step in advancing India’s energy-storage manufacturing capabilities. As we work toward operationalising it by early 2026, we remain focused on building a technologically advanced, scalable production ecosystem.”

MaxVolt Energy’s latest expansion underscores its strategic focus on supporting India’s clean-energy transition through innovation, responsible practices, and large-scale sustainable manufacturing.
