Maharashtra Releases Tender For Setting Up 45 kW Rooftop Solar Plant

The Maharashtra Energy Development Authority (MEDA) has announced that it has released a tender for setting up of a 45 kW capacity grid-connected solar PV power plant under rooftop net metering at the Prabhat Kids School in Akola, Maharashtra.

The last date of bid submissions is February 21, 2019, and the technical bids will be opened on February 22, 2019. A pre-bid meeting to tackle the concerns raised by potential bidders has been scheduled for February 16, 2019. All bidders must present an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 20,025 i.e. 1 percent of the total projected cost of the project which is Rs 20,02,500.

The concise range of work for selected bidders will include the design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and operation and maintenance for a period of 5 years, of the project on a “Turnkey” Contract Basis.

The chosen bidder has to upload the proposal under MH-GCRT programme for getting the central financial support. The selected bidder will get 30% CFA under this programme. The balance 70% payment will be made by MEDA.

To be entitled, the bidder should have installed and commissioned 50 kW capacity (single or cumulative) grid-connected rooftop net metering systems. The bidder should also have an annual turnover of not less than 100 lakhs during the last three fiscal years. The deadline for the conclusion of work is 30 Days from the date of issue of work order.
