Maharashtra Invites EPC Contractors to Set Up 1 MW of Rooftop Solar Projects

The scale of work includes the design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the rooftop solar PV projects. The successful bidder will also be accountable for operation and maintenance of the rooftop solar PV projects for period of two years

The Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) has announced that it is seeking EPC contractor to set up rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. The bid-submission time limit is 5th February, 2019.

The rooftop solar PV projects will be set up on accessible spaces at the Koradi and Chandrapur Thermal Power Stations in Maharashtra. A single project at a single location will be of 1 MW capacity.

The scale of work includes the design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the rooftop solar PV projects. The successful bidder will also be accountable for operation and maintenance of the rooftop solar PV projects for period of two years.

Lately, MAHAGENCO invited an expression of interest (EoI) to set up a 10 MW grid-connected floating solar project on the Upper Vaitarna reservoir in Nashik district.
