Maharashtra CM Inaugurates 1.2 GW Solar Manufacturing Facility by WorldOne Energies

Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, inaugurated a 1.2 GW Solar Panel Manufacturing Facility developed by WorldOne Energies. The newly inaugurated solar facility is designed for the manufacturing of solar PV modules, cells, silicon ingots and wafers, inverters, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

In a landmark moment for India’s green energy transition, Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, inaugurated a 1.2 GW Solar Panel Manufacturing Facility developed by WorldOne Energies.
 

This milestone marks a significant step forward in positioning Maharashtra as a key player in renewable energy manufacturing and clean technology leadership.

The newly inaugurated solar facility is designed for the manufacturing of solar PV modules, cells, silicon ingots and wafers, inverters, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). With robust domestic infrastructure and advanced automation, the facility will serve both local demand and global markets, strengthening India’s clean energy supply chain and export potential.
