MAHAGENCO Releases NIT for Developing 137 MW Solar Plants in Three Districts

The Maharashtra State Power Generation Company has announced that it has released a Notice Inviting Tenders (NIT), inviting bids from eligible parties for the deployment of 137 MW of solar power projects in three districts of the state.
The scope of work for the nominated bidders will include the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, testing and commissioning of the three solar projects worth 137 MW. The project developers will also be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plants for a period of 5 years from the date of commercial operation.
The three projects will be established as:
- 60 MW solar project in Sindala, Latur District
- 25 MW solar project in the Dhule District
- 52 MW solar project in close proximity of dour thermal power stations in Bhusawal, Koradi, Nashik and Parli.

As per the NIT, the projects will be incorporated with a 33kV high tension overhead transmission line or underground cable up to the interconnection point.
