Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is making a strong investment pitch in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as part of his ongoing Dubai-Spain tour from July 13 to 19.

On the second day of his visit, Dr. Yadav met with top Emirati officials and global investors, securing major investment pledges across sectors like renewable energy, manufacturing, and logistics.

In a key meeting with UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the two leaders explored opportunities under the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and the I2U2 initiative. Dr. Yadav presented Madhya Pradesh as a rising investment destination, highlighting its robust industrial infrastructure, proactive policies, and sectoral potential, from EVs and textiles to pharma and food processing.

One of the major investment announcements came from Grew Solar. The company’s Director and CEO, Vinay Thadani, confirmed an existing INR 3,000 crore investment in Madhya Pradesh and revealed plans to expand it to INR 10,000 crore in the coming years, diversifying into renewable energy, and other key areas.

The visit also saw a strategic pact with Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO). Dr. Yadav and JITO Chairman Mukesh Vora agreed to set up an MP-JITO investment platform in Dubai. The collaboration will foster joint ventures in advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, and logistics, while also focusing on MSME development, skill training, and academic exchanges.

Aviation connectivity and infrastructure development were also key points of discussion. Emirates’ Senior Vice President for Commercial Operations, Essa Sulaiman Ahmad, expressed interest in partnering with Madhya Pradesh. “It was a terrific opportunity to meet the Chief Minister. His vision aligns with the scale of India’s growing investment potential,” Ahmad said.

The Chief Minister underscored the state’s growing air connectivity and upcoming initiatives like food parks, mineral exploration, and air ambulance services. He noted investor interest in Madhya Pradesh’s rich deposits of minerals, including gold, diamonds, and cement.

The visit began with Dr. Yadav addressing the Indian diaspora in Dubai and continued with presentations to potential investors, projecting Madhya Pradesh as one of India’s fastest-growing, business-friendly states. The groundwork laid during the Dubai visit is expected to deepen India-UAE economic ties and support Madhya Pradesh’s development agenda.
