Luminous Power Technologies the NXI A3350-HV (350 kW) and NXI A3250-HV (250 kW) 800 V AC for utility-scale applications, at the India Green Energy Expo 2025.

The expo is being held from June 19th to June 21st, 2025, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre in Bengaluru. These advanced inverters are designed to bring reliable and efficient utility scale solar power to businesses across India, supporting the nation's transition to a greener energy future.

India's power grid is undergoing a rapid transformation with the increasing penetration of decentralized renewable energy sources. This shift, however, presents several technical and commercial challenges, including voltage fluctuations, harmonic distortions, high transmission losses, and underutilized assets. As the nation moves toward a greener energy future, there is a critical need for advanced grid-tie solutions that can manage these complexities with intelligence and efficiency.

According to Preeti Bajaj, CEO & MD, Luminous Power Technologies, “The Indian power ecosystem is undergoing a profound transformation, positioning us at the cusp of a greener, more resilient energy future. For Luminous, this means pioneering innovative technologies like our NXI A3350-HV and NXI A3250-HV inverters and ensuring that this growth is inclusive and economically viable for all stakeholders. We are committed to addressing critical grid challenges from high transmission losses to the levelized cost of energy, and in doing so, we aim to significantly contribute to India’s energy independence and sustainable development, ultimately empowering the nation’s economic backbone.”

Elaborating on the new range, Amit Shukla, Senior Vice President & Business Head – Energy Solutions, Luminous Power Technologies, added, “Our NXI A series of utility-grade string inverters represents a significant leap forward in addressing India’s evolving energy demands. With over 99 percent maximum efficiency and features like advanced MPPTs, low Total Harmonic Distortion and robust grid support, these inverters are engineered to ensure optimal energy yield, enhance power quality, and crucially, bolster grid stability. By enabling a shift to an 800V DC architecture and incorporating smart capabilities like remote monitoring and fault ride-through, we are providing DISCOMs and IPPs with solutions that are not just technically superior but also economically and operationally sound for seamless solar integration."

The 800V AC architecture of these utility string inverters is designed to facilitate the integration of renewable energy sources by enabling them to connect to the HV System and reduce transmission losses.

The launch of these products brings Luminous solar expertise to utility scale projects under the PM KUSUM yojana as well as various Group Captive and Open Access power projects. They are also ready to deploy & address the emergent segment of Agrivoltaics & Floating Power projects.

With end-to-end solution capability, Luminous delivers projects with in-house ownership of the solution journey including hardware ecosystem (panels, batteries & inverters), Solar technology (on grid, off grid & hybrid), remote monitoring as well as expertise in project installation and post installation phases.
